Classic timepieces for well-known events
The mechanical clock (Chronomat) was originally the official timepiece of the Italian “Tricolor Arrows” aerobatic team. Mechanical chronograph watches were highly praised by pilots and favored by F1 teams in the 1980s and 1990s because of their speedometers. The adjustable bezel indicator allows the eye to have both ‘counting up’ and ‘counting down’ functions, making it ideal for diving and sailing competitions.
Since then, the mechanical chronograph watch has become Breitling’s most versatile sports watch, attracting athletes who challenge the limits of human endurance in the sea, land, and air.
The limited edition series of mechanical chronograph watches are equipped with Breitling’s self-made 01 movements, all certified by the Swiss Official Observatory (COSC). Both the 42 mm case and the roller bead bracelet are made of stainless steel. The hands are covered with Super-LumiNova® luminous coating. Like all mechanical chronograph models, the water resistance is up to 200 meters. The bottom of each watch is specially engraved with the name of the league, “Six Nations” (Six Nations), and “One of 150” (one of 150 pieces).
The Mechanical Chronograph Six Nations Limited Edition series is available in the UK and selected EU countries.
The Guinness Six Nations Championship kicks off on February 4, with Wales taking on Ireland in the opener. The series will end on March 19, and the TikTok Women’s Six Nations will follow on March 25.
